I loved everything! The place is cozy, quiet and tastefully decorated. It’s just few minutes walk from the central square of Salento but at the same time quite and peaceful. Breakfast is excellent. They are really kind and helped with transfers and laundry. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Amazing hotel in the perfect location: outside of the noises of the town but within a walking distance. The bed was suuuper comfortable, the amenities are very new and clean and the room was massive (looks better than the photos). Margarita and Ignacio were very hospitable and helped us a lot with recommendations! We had some nice conversations near the fireplace in the main room which was very cosy. The highlight of the hotel are two massive dogs that are always ready for pets and scratches.

If you'd like to stay further outside of tourist laden Salento and enjoy the silence, this is it. I had the cabana at the top all to myself overlooking the lush green canopy of the Eje Cafetero listening to the sound of the Rio Quindio. Frequent buses take you to Salento, very easy to hop on one. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. You can ask Juliana for help and recommendations. Breakfast is typical Colombian. Few options for lunch and dinner also. Some spots to eat nearby and shops for necessities. If they hadn't been fully booked, I would have stayed longer than a week. Blissfull experience!

We couldn't recommend this place more. The rooms are quaint and cozy, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. It gets a little cold during the night but there's a little heater in the rooms that is very efficient. They also include in your room tea, delicious coffee, and panela (a kind of sugar) that you can prepare yourself. Food is wholesome and healthy, the portions are not particularly generous so you might need to order a little extra than you would normally eat, especially after a walk in the Cocora Valley. Sol is a very sweet female dog that will accompany you through breakfast or up the hill to the view point - would recommend going there for sunsets! There's walking sticks and wellies available that you can take on your walks, and two waterfalls within the area belonging to the glamping, about 20 minutes walk away. The sky at night is beautiful and the place is surrounded by nature. You'll hear insects, birds and the sound of the water as there's a little stream running nearby. TO GET THERE: From Salento you just need to take a jeep - they depart in the direction of the Valley every hour or half an hour I believe, the price is very accessible, less than 10.000 pp. Just ask the driver to stop at Glamping Lumbre. Then there's a pleasant 10 minute walk from the main entrance to the actual complex - even that walk is beautiful, surrounded by avocado trees. Important tip: the last public jeep leaves Salento to the Valley at 5:30pm. From then onwards, they will still run but they're treated as private rides/taxis and the prices go way up (I believe it's something like 30.000).

Such a beautiful place! It's in the heart of nature, surrounded by wonderful views. The staff and the family are very friendly and they also have the cutest dogs! We felt comfortable and welcomed and the rooms had everything you need. It is just a ten minute drive from Salento, close to everything, but you still get to feel like you are away deep in the mountains. The breakfast was delicious. Would love to come again one day, one of the most lovely places we've ever been ❤️
