Our recent stay at the Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden was an unforgettable alpine retreat. Upon arrival, we were captivated by the hotel's stunning architecture, which harmoniously blended with the breathtaking natural surroundings. The floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor terraces offered mesmerizing panoramic views of the mountains, providing a sense of tranquility that stayed with us throughout our visit. Our spacious room featured contemporary furnishings and top-notch amenities. The private balcony served as a front-row seat to the magnificent alpine landscape, making it the ideal spot to enjoy our morning coffee and breathe in the crisp mountain air. The dining experience at Johann Grill was exceptional. The restaurant showcased a delightful fusion of regional and international flavors, with each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The sumptuous breakfast buffet quickly became a cherished morning ritual, offering an impressive selection of delectable options. During our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special. They treated us to a chef's special menu, which was a delightful surprise and a testament to their commitment to personalized service. The hotel's location provided easy access to various outdoor activities, such as hiking and exploring the charming local towns. The concierge team played a crucial role in helping us plan our daily excursions, offering expert advice and seamless transportation arrangements. What truly set Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the warm and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality, and every interaction throughout our stay demonstrated their dedication to creating a memorable experience for their guests.

Every aspect of our stay was great! Convenient walk to the train station, although up a hill, smooth check-in by the very attentive and helpful Franz. Small but very nice spa, exceptional breakfast buffet.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming! The location was ideal as it was within minutes of hikes and attractions but also gives you a feel that you are off the beaten path. We fully took advantage of the on-site spa. Our last night there I had their house special for dinner and it was one of the best meals I had during our trip! Also super pet friendly offering a nice wooded walking path at the back of the hotel.

Breakfast is included and it's absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Although we didn't utilize this service, they provide you with bus passes to get around town in - which is a nice perk! They have a handful of different types of saunas which were super relaxing to go around and rotate in. The pool is clean and great to cool off in after the saunas.

It’s a beautiful lodge in the German Alps. We visited in late November and enjoyed the first snow of the season. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We felt like we were enjoying our own home in the Alps. They have every amenity you could want.

Beautiful spa resort hotel. It felt like a hidden gem. The pride of ownership is so evident. Every part of the hotel has a creative charm to it. The grounds surrounding the pool were immaculate. The food was always a treat.
