Felt like a British castle. Wonderful renovated with lots of old furniture, with maybe exception in the breakfast room. Has its own small chapel. The location is excellent, directly at the Moselle river. Our room was superb, we got an upgrade in one of their suites. Wonderful views. Great starting point for hikes. And an excellent winery just next door.

We came here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and the hotel staff prepared a welcome gift and set up a romantic table for our dinner. The hotel and the staff are great, it was our second time here. We would say - a perfect place to relax and enjoy the spa facilities with your partner. Breakfast was really good as well- fresh, tasty and satisfying. A big positive for us was that the hotel is dog friendly, so we absolutely loved it that we could bring our four legged fur baby with us. They welcomed our dog with a sleeping mat, a bowl and heart shaped treats. We will definitely keep coming back to Weisser Bär. Thank you so much!

Our room was well appointed and spacious, and although it was not air conditioned and the days were very warm, the staff had made a real effort to keep the room dark and the fan running, which helped. The room was quiet, making for a good sleep. There are some very pleasant outdoor areas at this hotel. We loved being able to sit outside, with a drink in the attractive area on one side during the day or the evening, or at breakfast on the other side of the hotel adjacent to the lawn and garden in the morning. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast appealing. The car parking is across the street, very convenient and easy to access. The small town it is located in was a great place to stay, and easy to walk around.
