The hotel personel are all very friendly. Very attentive too. The room is very spacious and clean. No fighting with space for suitcases. The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and bars. But at the same time it was very quiet even with windows open. walking distance to Kurpark too. And the Gradierwerk is gigantic. Very impressive. Direckt parking at hotel. At arrival you will be navigated to pedastrian zone, but do not worry the hotel has exemption. You can drive by all those restaurants and bars with peace of mind.

Wonderfully relaxed and positive atmosphere Super-friendly staff, helpful and efficient; Marco, Bobe, and Suzanne on reception.  Restaurant (breakfast) staff service was again quite superb!  Room was a revelation, good-size, with oldy-worldy décor - traditional real wood style. Bed very comfortable, TV setup to watch YouTube All-in-all would highly recommend Maritim… will definitely be back!

We stayed for a night as part of a motorcycle trip round Germany. Mark and Manuela were extremely helpful and accommodating. Fantastic hosts who were great to chat with. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and included all amenities that you could need. 10/10, highly recommend. We hope to stay again.

We just stayed one night, me and my 2-year old, and I probably had the best sleep of my life. The bed is probably the same like they have in Heaven. Just perfect. They had a wedding on that night and we had the first room on the ground floor, but I couldn’t hear the slightest sound. It was complete silence. The breakfast was amazing, the food good and varied, the restaurant super nice.

This is an extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated apartment in the middle of Detmold. The design and layout are very well done, making you feel very much at home. There is everything you need in the kitchen, a bright and aired bathroom with large rain shower, a very large bedroom with good cupboard space, a comfortable couch and even a record player. There is a cellar downstairs where you can leave your bike, and a free use of washing machine and drying rack. At the ground floor is also a very friendly Eye Glasses shop, who become your neighbours :)
