This hotel was amazing, we paid for the family apartment, and travelling with a dog, this was ideal. It had so much room, too much for just two people so it felt luxurious. The staff we incredibly friendly and very welcoming, I tried communicate in my german, and they were very understanding and switched to english later on as my partner does not speak german at all. We ate at the hotel restaurant, and while there isn't a lot on the menu, it's totally fine, and the food was honestly incredibly delicious, and they let us have our dog with us at all times, and had a table set aside in a corner which was perfect. Everything was nice and clean and as you'd expect. I loved the fact that there wasn't much noise from the other rooms in the Family apartment, again very handy when travelling with a (guarding) dog. Also the location was great, not far from the motorway/ highway, and it offered some nice local walks for the dog. 10/10 I will be returning here!!

Very friendly, super quiet, clean, excellent location on the edge of the forest. it was actually our second choice as the hotel we used to stay in the area does not accept dogs anymore. We are happily swapping it for the first choice :)

Our hotel is located on the edge of the Teutoburg Forest, in the heart of the town of Bad Laer, close to the spa gardens.

We booked the place mainly because of the beautiful location, but the hospitality of the hotel and the staff, lovely room and delicious breakfast made our weekend. We also got help with a broken bike. Thank you for having us and we will definitely come back!
