I practically never write reviews, but this place truly deserves it! 🙌🏻 It was a real escape from the hustle and bustle of city life—starting with the journey to the hotel. A tiny serpentine road winds into the mountains, passing through a beautiful forest straight out of a fairytale. The views were breathtaking, the rooms spacious, the food excellent, and the atmosphere incredibly romantic—calm and quiet. I slept like a baby. I absolutely loved that breakfast was served in the room—no need to rush in the morning. Just wake up and enjoy the moment with your partner. We stayed for two nights but wished we had booked a bit longer. The staff went above and beyond to take care of all our needs, even after we checked out. They managed to secure a reservation for us at a three-star Michelin restaurant—something we thought was impossible!

The studio is amazing. It part of a hotel complex. Immersed into the forest, it gives us sense of quietness. The breakfast is superb with plenty of options, and everything is fresh (fruit, bread). We loved it. There is a great restaurant in the hotel that we recommend as the food is delicious. We travelled by car and it was possible to park just in front of the hotel without paying for it. The hotel is a bit far from the city center (20 to 25 minutes in a bus) but there is a bus stop next to the hotel that goes directly to the old part of city.

Barceló Costa Vasca is 450 metres from San Sebastián’s Ondarreta Beach, next to Miramar Palace and Gardens. Rooms at the Costa Vasca are bright and minimalist, with lots of natural light.
