Amazing jewel - so close to wonderful nearby towns, gardens, local attractions. Canoeing is 5 minutes away and Domme and Sarlat are just a short ride away. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful all the way. Sauna and pool are just perfect. Would love to return to this wonderful picturesque terrace to sip wine and watch the sunset!

Loved our stay with Helene and Francois who made us feel very welcome. A charming couple. Our room was just gorgeous, full of character and extremely comfortable. The garden is beautiful with a wonderful view over the lush countryside. Breakfast was delicious with strawberries and warm croissant for me. We wished we had stayed longer!

We stayed at Le Black Sheep for two weeks. The hosts Véronique and Laurent were very welcoming and friendly. They did everything possible to assure we enjoyed our stay. We loved that the accommodation was so dog-friendly. That's not easy to find and it was important to us. Everything was super clean. We loved: the private whirlpool, the modern accommodation, the breakfast, the pool, the quiet and peaceful surrounding, the central location, the owners and their enthusiastic dogs. We loved visiting: Domme (10 mins by car) and Beynac-et-Cazenac (15 mins by car) both are rated as some of the most beautiful villages of France. We hope to come back some day.

    The hotel itself was beautiful - grounds, pool, spa, rooms and so was the breakfast in the dining room. The staff were very good (Please note - Dining options are available outside of the main hotel building within the grounds a short walk up an incline - not a ‘like‘ just a statement of fact)

    We absolutely LOVED our stay at Domaine de Rochebois. The setting of the hotel is stunning, the facilities are excellent and all the staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of sweet and savoury delicacies and the view from the breakfast balcony is exceptional. The pool and spa treatments are fantastic and rooms are comfortable, light and spacious. In addition, the hotel is well situated to visit the surrounding area and is walking distance to the beautiful village of Vitrac.

    Wonderful location immersed in an oasis of peace and nature. Nice structure with a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing and switching off from chaos of modern world. Beautiful panoramic terrace for breakfast and nice outdoor pool.

    The property is huge, light and airy and has a breathtaking view over the countryside below and far into the distance. The gardens are delightful and a lovely place to just ‘be’ after breakfast in the morning sunshine. Our room was really comfortable with a fabulous bed and the Spa treatment was great. ALL the staff are really friendly, attentive and helpful. Laurie (on reception) welcome us like family or old friends - she has such a lovely manner and really goes the extra mile to make everything flow.
