What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.

Our room, which was on the ground floor was well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were polite and professional. The breakfast was excellent.
The hi-light was the incredible spa. Three pools, including an outside rooftop one and a choice of saunas and steam rooms.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, we did not have an evening meal but the breakfast was delicious. Lovely listening to the gentleman by reception playing the piano whilst we were relaxing in the evening with a drink.

Location is great, plenty of parking, established trees, flowerbeds, grass. Room was spacious with coffee maker, teas etc. Bathroom clean, toiletries provided, large white towels, bath robe, slippers. Swimming pool was lovely with a lane marked off for us swimmers. Sauna and steam room were lovely to relax in. Good changing rooms with Showers warm and clean with shower gel and hairdryers.
Breakfast oat drink provided as a milk alternative.
Near bus stops and train station.

The pleasure started upon arrival and entering the restaured historical building, then getting to the contained but perfectly furnished room with the fitting Georgian-inspired decor with a very large bathroom. Then, fitted into the provided robes, heading to the delightful and meticulously clean spa to have one of the best endings after a long day's travel, relaxing in the diverse pools and sauna(s). The unremarkable breakfast next morning matched the expected standards of the hotel.

Great place for a special treat visit. Buxton is beautiful and in such a picture perfect location. The hotel staff are all very polite and helpful. The best bit by far is the fabulous and relaxing spa with a selection of pools, steam rooms and saunas to explore. It felt like a true Victorian spa break experience with a modern touch and standards.
