My son Max and I had a magical stay at The Balmoral. The staff were just wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extra special for Max (age 9). Our trip to Edinburgh was a special treat because he's a huge Harry Potter fan. He absolutely loved Edinburgh and all it's Potter lore but the stay in the Balmoral was by far the highlight of his trip because of how kind everyone was to us (as well as it being a beautiful luxurious hotel of course).

Great hotel and staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Room was spacious and comfortable. In a great location with Palace of Holyroodhouse a 5min walk. Breakfast was well catered for with a variety of delicious food. All attractions are within waking distance and felt very safe waking around town even at night.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The bed was amazing and just an overall comfortable room. Oh and of course it was warm! Not all buildings in the UK is able to stay comfortably warm during the winter.
