The staff were so so friendly. One girl in particular who was working in Carrie’s bar on Saturday night just beamed positivity and happiness. She was so lovely and was honestly a ball of sunshine! I couldn’t see her name tag but it began with a C and she was working with two other boys. She is a credit to the company, she just radiates good vibes :) Breakfast was fabulous. The pool and leisure centre is amazing and the fitting rooms are very neat and well thought out. We got upgraded to a suite which was such a treat!

Reception staff on arrival were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were nicely decorated with air conditioning which was needed. Breakfast was very nice and again staff were friendly. Didn’t get to use the pool or gym this time but hopefully will on our next stay

Beautiful large room with massive double bed, stunning views and good strong shower and nice bath. Kettle with lots of tea , coffee, milk and biscuits. Lovely view in lovely old building.

We had the most wonderful staycation at Bowood and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff, food and facilities were all so fantastic. We saw so much wildlife while enjoying a coffee on the terrace, which added even more magic to our stay. We will be back for sure.

Location was excellent, the place was beautifully decorated with everything we needed. The restaurant on site with it's tuck shop was super convenient. The balcony was a great bonus with it's lake views. The spa could have had more quiet adults only slots as it was always packed with kids splashing around, but that's not fault if the property.
