Exceptional staff right from entering the hotel and booking in. Modern but sympathetic public areas. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast served in a beautiful room. Dinner in the Brasserie was also very good and great value for money.

It is literally a "Grand" historical building on Torquays sea front - steeped in history, right next to the train station (don't worry, the station isn't very busy). The female receptionist I spoke to was lovely & great at her job. The room was clean, comfortable & spacious with nice high ceilings. The location is great for exploring Torquay & it's just a short walk along the sea front into the town centre.

    The Hotel is in an excellent location with a panoramic view of the sea. The room was spacious and had good facilities including en-suite with a shower and a large bath. The breakfast was buffet style but had a great selection. It was easy walking distance to Meadfoot beach. The Hotel also has a spa facility with heated hydro spa pools that we indulged in for relaxation after a long walk.

    The breakfast was fantastic, lots for Children to do (pools, arcade, bowling, pool/snooker, table tennis and kids club/ evening entertainment and for adults (spa, sauna, hot tub and evening entertainment) a great overall hotel for the whole family, we will come back
