Everything in this hotel is perfect! The location which is a few minutes from all the restaurants but still quite and peaceful. The staff were amazing, very nice and helpful and made us feel at home. The room is even more beautiful than the pictures and the pool and bar are beautiful as well! The breakfast was superb!

My wife and I spent a lot of time choosing our hotel in Santorini and we couldn't have chosen better. From the moment we arrived when the co-owner Cristos helped us with our bags and gave us a tour of the place and Michael (could be Michaelos apologies!) gave us a detailed overview of the island and provided fantastic insight into things to do and places to visit we knew this was the correct place. We spent 4 magical nights in the VIP suite, we visited Oia and Thira on separate days but always rushed back to our room in the hotel because of how great the view was and how fantastic the outdoor plunge pool was. Every single member of staff was extremely helpful during our stay, the food and the drink from the bistro was as good as any we ate in our stay in Greece. The view from the hotel cannot be described, it must be experienced. For the first time in our lives my wife and I will be returning to a hotel for a second time, that's how good this place was. Thank you to Cristos, Michael and the whole team at Altana for making our Honeymoon the one we dreamed of - Nathan and Erin

It was a magnificent experience. We had incredible views, with outdoor spaces specifically assigned to us so there was no concern for "trying to get a good spot". Delicious breakfast was included in the rate with so many choices. It was delivered to the room every morning based on your selected hour. You could enjoy it in your designated outdoor patio, as you take in the spectacular scenery. Above all, the staff was very pleasant, and they made sure everything was perfect.

Built on the cliffs of the Caldera in Imerovigli, the Astra Suites features a spa center and an infinity pool with a furnished terrace.

The view from the hotel was amazing, we enjoyed sunsets from the pool area, we didn’t even bother going to Oia for the crowded sunset viewing, why would you? Imerovogli is white and beautiful like Oia, but less crowded and smaller. We definitely recommend this hotel for those who want to enjoy the caldera view, avoid crowds, who prefer tranquility, who do not want to overpay for more famous hotels in Santorini. The hotel staff are professional and friendly, and take a good care of customers. You pick your breakfast needs and time in advance and they serve your breakfast at your balcony table. Pool and pool area were also good.
