ThailandI recently stayed at Kyniska Palace Conference & Spa in Mystras in April 2025 and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The room was clean and very spacious, which was perfect for my family—I stayed with my wife and two children. We booked the half-board option and really enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast provided; the food was delicious and satisfying.
The hotel is located close to Mystras, a historic fortified town in Laconia, Peloponnese, situated on Mount Taygetus above ancient Sparta. In 1989, the ruins of Mystras—including the fortress, palace, churches, and monasteries—were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site features a museum and partially restored ruins that are absolutely worth visiting.
I would definitely recommend Kyniska Palace to anyone visiting the region. It’s a great base for exploring the rich history of Mystras while enjoying comfort and great hospitality.
