The breakfast was great, a wide variety of foods and different types of coffees, plus fruit and a few different items changed every other day (mostly the same every morning, not a bad thing though). Dinner was different every night, plenty of options to choose from including fish every day, we loved everything about it and well worth the extra money to have it included, especially since there are not many restaurants in the area (other than fast food ones). The pool and spa were great, we want to come back in the colder season to be able to fully enjoy the saunas too. The pool was heated and rarely crowded even if it was the middle of the summer season. The private beach is about 5 minutes away, plenty of sunbeds and a nice restaurant for snacks. We will definitely come back to this hotel!

It was really clean and modern. The wellness was nice. Food was amazing.

Situated in Alsóörs, Hotel Mayer is set on the foot of Bakony Hills and it offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony or terrace and an outdoor pool with a bar.

It was our second time visit in this cosy family hotel. And again was everything spot on. You can find everything for a short break or a long stay. Nice clean rooms, smiley and wiling staff, on-site restaurant with classic Hungarian cuisine, lovely pool and the best thing - pool bar. Tasty and reach breakfast, various options of meat, sausages, vegetables, pastries. I loved "lecsó" :) Free parking but a little bit hidden in the village, what on the other side guarantees a calm sleep with opened windows :) Few miles by car from beaches in Balatonfured and county city Veszprem (shops, restaurants, ZOO...). Bonus: We were offered for the same price a bigger room as we booked, so we enjoyed the holiday even better as we could. We will come back soon!

The room was amazing. Very clean and lots of room the jacuzzi that we had in the room was very large. The experience was very Romantic. The food was very good and plenty to eat different every day. If your going to stay choose the dinner option the expense was for 2 people for 3 days 25 euro. You can't eat at a restaurant anywhere for that price for 3 days

My family had a great time at this hotel. It is absolutely perfect for young kids. Facilities are amazing, all public areas have been renovated recently to a very high standard. Huge choice of saunas, including my favourite infrared. Quality of food is very high; my kids loved various meats, porridge, chicken and sides. Local white wine is very good. Staff are very well trained and generally nice and friendly. Most people do speak some English, so communication was not an issue.

During my most recent visit, I had an absolutely fantastic experience! The friendly and accommodating personnel made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. The amazing level of cleanliness throughout my stay made for a cosy and secure environment. The large balcony that was connected to my room was the highlight of my trip because it offered a nice outside area where I could unwind and breathe in the fresh air. The rooms themselves were an ideal fusion of contemporary style and a welcoming, cosy ambiance. One of the most unforgettable experiences was waking up to my room's breathtaking view of Lake Balaton. Being able to see the lake so clearly out of my window was a real treat. This hotel stood out for its wonderful family-friendly ambiance. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed themselves, from the roomy accommodations to the thoughtful extras. Finding a place that so effectively serves everyone is not always simple, but this hotel got it right. Overall, I had an amazing time during my stay at this hotel.
