When you are in this area, this little piece of heaven will not disappoint!! I received such a warm & friendly welcome. The accommodation was delightful, the food delicious. I wish I'd booked 2 nights! Truly delightful spot. An unexpected oasis in a charming village. And.... one of the highlights was that Friendly Homestay has a very well run spa on the property. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. A particularly touching gesture was when one of the staff members drove all the way back home to fetch traditional clothing for us, so we could attend a Hindu ceremony at a nearby family temple—an experience we’ll never forget. They are also an invaluable source of local knowledge, able to connect you with the very best guides if you’re interested in learning about Balinese customs and history, or if you simply want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Sekumpul. The area is breathtaking, with terraced rice fields, lush, aromatic vegetation filled with herbs and fruits, and of course, the magnificent waterfalls that are nothing short of awe-inspiring. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly—it’s a hidden gem and a perfect retreat for those seeking a genuine and enriching Bali experience.

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly owners and staff. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. The cottages are very spacious and super clean. Everything has just been renovated. The location is great, overlooking the mountains and beautiful with the sunset over the pool. Nice breakfast and very good restaurant. Fresh and delicious Our son had his birthday during our stay and the staff had made a nice cake for him. If we are in Bali again we will definitely come back!

This place definitely had the "wow-factor". When you enter you feel peace and calmness. This place is so beautiful and well taken care of. We enjoyed the garden and the swimming pool a lot. The private room is very warm and welcome with lovely details which make you feel happy and at home. Hygiëne and cleanliness was flawless. And the best part: the people who facilitate, are so extremely nice. You feel so welcome and relaxed and taken care of. As an icing on the cake, you should try a massage by the lovely host (who speaks both English and Dutch), it was superb.

Great place , customer service great , food yummy , we got an upgraded room for free ( didn’t expect that), so grateful for this opportunity to experience a great two storey Villa with the sea view and own pool. My recommendation , do not book dolphin or snorkeling tour in advance , because right in front of the hotel they have all these services so you can just jump on the boat anytime. Also do not rush to meet dolphins on the sunrise , they stay there long after the sunrise , and on the sunrise it looks like a massive dolphin hunt not a dolphin swim or watch . There is plankton in the water , skin is itchy afterwards so keep it in mind when you put children in the water .
