we absolutely loved our stay here! the perfect place to get away from the busier areas of bali and relax… and be wonderfully looked after by the amazing staff. the host, Kedak, picked us up from canggu and was helpful and very welcoming. he ensure we had everything we need throughout our stay. we booked a waterfall tour through the homestay and our tour guide, Andi, was very kind and informative - would definitely recommend doing this tour and the waterfalls are very close by. the food was lovely and we ate all of our meals at the homestay during our time there. the little bungalows are comfortable and nicely furnished with all the amenities you need and a lovely little porch! we can’t wait to come back here!

Very nice staff, very clean resort, if you are lucky you can spot monkeys on their property. Terrific view. Helpful people. Waterfalls are only a 5-10 minute walk away from the hotel.

Recommend 100% beautiful place , very quiet and peaceful, beautiful views from the balcony that definitely match the pictures. Breakfast was very nice prepared every morning. Location is absolutely perfect if with moped. We rented a moped on the premises which was quick and easy with very helpful personnel. Thank you , we had a lovely time .

What an amazing place!! A true exotic paradise location! Beautifully set, high in the mountains, this new built mini-resort provides all you need to experience the serenity, fantastic nature and friendly ways of local people. The bamboo cabin is so pretty, neat and comfortable - a large bed with a canopy and moskito curtains (not at all needed in February!), lovely wooden furniture, the bamboo finish and the lovely bathroom surrounded with the view of the local greenery and the mountains. Unforgettable. Eating area under a roof with 360 views of the surrounding nature, the beatutiful pool, fire place area and the vegetable garden for the needs of the resort's kitchen. The team is really nice, with a good knowledge of English and catering for any needs, including transfers, local trips and food requests. Local people are most friendly. They live modestly but are so rich through their culture and religious rituals, architecture and devotion! A real privilege to be a witness of some of it. A half day trip to the natural water slide, Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls, cliff jump and the trek across the rice fields and the woodland - a once in a lifetime experience. Amazing views, overwhelming sense of power of nature and how local people have learned to peacefully harness it to their needs. A truly wholesome experience!

The people who work for this beautiful place, are the best part of the experience. Yes, you arrive to a breathtaking view, but they are the ones making you feel like at home from the beginning. They care so much, and so fast trying to do everything we ask for - makes this place the BEST we have ever stayed at (and we travel the world a LOT!) We appreciate you all, really all of you, from the reception to the guys opening the gate, the kitchen, gardeners and massage therapists, Risma, Bagas, Yudi! The amount of work went into this property is unbelievable, and the good energy comes through because of the people who took the effort to plan it, design it, build it and work here today every day :) The owners did an amazing job, beautiful paintings, wooden statues everywhere made by locals, we really noticed all the details and thanks to the girls showing us the book, we look at everything differently knowing it all! Breakfast is delicious and generous, rooms are cleaned perfectly and if you find bugs anywhere, stop complaining - just remember YOU ARE IN NATURE! Strawberry cocktails with arak, rum and no vodka, taste like heaven! We had one almost every day haha! You really don’t need an extra alcohol in this drink. So anyway, the power of mother nature took over our body the moment we arrived and made us feel sooo relaxed, you have no choice really, just feel amazing. We love you all and will be forever thankful for our experience here! Suksma!!!

The resort is located on a mountainside. There was a beautiful view from every place, including our terrace. There are a lot of stairs in the area (but not too steep, and most of them have railings), so Maha Hills is a great option for adults who are looking for relaxation and tranquillity. Spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub. A large swimming pool (again with THIS view) next to the restaurant serving delicious dishes, including Balinese cuisine. There is also a SPA on site, from which you can listen to the sound of the waterfall during a massage... these are amazing moments that are impossible to describe. Even though the facility is quite large, it has a unique, friendly and even family atmosphere. Maybe the view is worth $1 000 000, but these unique experiences are created primarily by people and their approach to guests - and this is priceless. We spent 4 days at the hotel. The Maha Hills team prepared a birthday surprise for me, which was not only nice, but... touching. Comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated private villa, beautiful gardens and scenery, clean pool with lounge chairs, excellent service, wonderful staff, good kitchen. I stayed for about ten days. Unfortunately I got apendicitis in the last few days of my stay. Mely and all the staff were extremely helpfull. They called a doctor and quickly got me to the hospital in Singaraja, and someone stayed by my side all the time, till I was discharged 2 days later. I am extremely thankfull to Mely and all the other lovely staff at Puri Mangga for going out of their way to support me during my illness. This small resort is really a beautiful place.
