The property was amazing, the rice fields view outside our room was so beautiful, it’s so peaceful and the staff was amazing, specially Agung he was very helpful n suggested us different places to visit in Ubud.Thank you for the opportunity to visit your property.

This property is a unique place,we booked for 10 days and extended our stay for 5 days more!the place is surrounded by rice fields with magnificent view from the balcony every hour of the day.the exterior space is so beautiful also with the pool and the little ponds full of colorful koi fish!we had our breakfast every day at our room with this delightful view!the staff also is very kind and always at your disposal, Mady and Putu are the sweatests persons we have ever met! The owner also Budi and his wife and little daughter are always smiling and ready to help you with everything! We definitely will come back next year and recommend this place,if we could we d give 10 stars🙏

Our stay was amazing. The hospitality off each and everyone in the staff is increadable and on point. They are genuily interested in making our stay perfect and manage to do so. We recently had the pleasure of sleeping 4 nights at Cicada, and I must say, it was an absolutely extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door, we where greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire stay. We started with a welcome drink and ceremony wich made us feel welcome. The room was perfect clean 2 times a day and free water and snacks. The view of the pool and the room was amazing. The food at Tangelo is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a work of art on a plate, showcasing not only culinary expertise but also a true passion for gastronomy. The menu is a delightful journey through flavors and textures, with each bite more exquisite than the last. The presentation of the dishes is a testament to the creativity of the chefs, and every meal felt like a carefully crafted masterpiece. But it's not just only the food that makes exceptional; it's the impeccable service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels special and well taken care of. Whether you have dietary preferences or specific questions about the menu, they are more than happy to accommodate your needs. The ambiance is another highlight. The decor is elegant and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Amazing place and value for money. The staff is courteous and nonintrusive.

We(me and my future husband) return to this hotel again and again. This is a place for quiet rest, relaxation, walks, with good service, beautiful rooms and food. Around the jungle, large rice terraces with many paths (they are even better than the famous Tegallalang terraces, in my opinion); traditional balinese village and big temple. you can walk to a fairly large waterfall and river, admiring the mountains, there is really beautiful nature here, the real Bali! The hotel has free bikes (new, not broken) and I often rode them. Every evening the hotel staff brings mosquito products to the room - thanks to the hotel for that. The hotel also provides excursions, it is very convenient and I ordered a tour. There is a book in the room with useful information for tourists (for example, the hotel informs tourists about not very pleasant situations that can be encountered in Bali.) There is a small stream, banana trees on the territory of the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and flowers, the traditional Balinese style is combined with modern technology and comfort, for which I really appreciate this hotel. And by the way, the weather here, in the center of the island, is cooler, more comfortable for Europeans than on the coast. Even in the rainy season, it’s good here - beautiful nature and the sound of rain, ha-ha, we did nothing, enjoyed food, made small outings from the hotel under a large umbrella, which gives the hotel - our shoes was not in the mud: there is an asphalted narrow road near the hotel, along which we calmly walked.

This place is magical, its so beautiful i can’t fault it one bit. The staff is so friendly, welcoming and patient. The room is clean and the hotel is serene. I recommend it 100%. I am surely coming back soon

Breakfast was made to order and exceeded my expectations for sure. You order the night before and it is delivered to your room to be enjoyed in your garden. You can opt for a floating breakfast but our mornings were a bit too chilly for that so we will do that next time! We loved having our own private pool and the outside bathroom was massive and designed perfectly to maintain privacy. Wifi connection was great. Room service food was also better than I expected it to be. The location is a bit out of town but there are free shuttles a few times a day and Nau Villa provides a taxi service that is very affordable and on par (or cheaper) than other offers around. If you imagine yourself wanting to be in the centre of Ubud every day then this place might not be for you. But if you want to balance your stay with some relaxation and then temple tours (that are not in the centre of ubud) then this place will work for you!

That it was situated out in the jungle, and extremely serene and peaceful

I checked out at 12am like I was supposed to, but I got really sick while I was wandering around the area. I started throwing up on the street and I felt so weak, so I went back to the hotel. The crew of Casa Maddu went above expectations to look out for me. They let me back into a room free of charge so i could sleep it off while i was waiting for my transfer to the airport in the evening. Before this happened I already had an amazing stay, but the way they handled me being sick was next level quality customer service.
