We stayed in the Villa. Excellent - plenty of space for 4 people. Fast and reliable wi-if. Wonderful with private pool and sunbeds for Villa residents. We had lunch delivered to our private pool everyday. We felt treated like royalties. Excellent food from the Bora-Bora restaurant. Outstanding breakfast was included in the room charge. A choice of continental, Indonesian or American breakfast. Excellent beds, pillows and mattress. Good air conditioning in all of the Villa. Very quite all day - perfect for us and for a luxury stay. Very far from everything - so no shopping, no supermarket etc. just being pampered by the lovely staff at the Mayo resort. My teenage daughters didn’t want to leave (neither did we). We only had 3 nights - that was a mistake. We should have had 5-7 nights if we had known it was such a wonderful place.

This resort exceeded all expectations! The views were absolutely stunning, and the hotel was spotless. The staff are so nice. Our room was amazing! luxurious bathroom and great in-room facilities. The heated jacuzzis and pools were perfect, especially during the rainy season. The restaurant was really good since you have to eat there all evenings. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a villa called Yudhistira (closest to the pool). From the first time we entered the property to checkout 4 days later we were welcomed and experienced high level og service. We went to two trips from here arranged by the hotel, which we can recommend others. The first was trekking locally in the area to see waterfalls, plantations, villages and rice terasses - our guide Kadek was really great with a lot of knowledge about the plantations, culture in Bali and Hindu religion, we learned so much during the trekking. The second trip was to Aling-aling waterfalls, Lovina beach and to hot springs, we got a really nice driver in a great new car. The rooms and place has everything needed, comfortable bed, infinity pool, good restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner, awesome view from balkony over rice terasses and living room with kitchen if needed, shower was nice and clean toilet. We would highly recommend anyone else staying here if need to get a bit out of the traffic in Ubud and Denpasar.

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly owners and staff. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. The cottages are very spacious and super clean. Everything has just been renovated. The location is great, overlooking the mountains and beautiful with the sunset over the pool. Nice breakfast and very good restaurant. Fresh and delicious Our son had his birthday during our stay and the staff had made a nice cake for him. If we are in Bali again we will definitely come back!

It is such a beautiful location. The staff were fabulous at meeting our needs, and went above and beyond expectations. This is a uniquely beautiful location made even more special by the staff. We loved everything about this place, this was our favourite location in Bali.

Absolutely amazing place! The view from the restaurant is just breathtaking. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is sooo delicious. We loved our treehouse, everything was so cosy and clean. The location was just perfect for exploring the lakes, temples and the waterfalls nearby. This place really feels like home 🤍 We definitely recommend Gumi Ayu for your stay in Munduk!

I loved everything. It was the most beautiful and serene place I’ve stayed in Bali, nestled amongst the rice paddies and mountains. The staff were so kind and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The massages were divine and breakfast was delicious too. It was my birthday and they went to so much effort to make me feel special, it really was a weekend to remember.
