The warm atmosphere when we entered the castle and attention of the reception we got made a big impression which we loved. The staff were so friendly and obliging and really made us feel at home there. I had been away for several months and at dinner received welcome home from the staff which both my wife and I felt very touched by. The room was ideal and the quality of the beds gave us such a great nights sleep that it was the first thing we commented on when we woke up in the morning. The food there was of the highest quality and I cannot rate this hotel high enough on all aspects. It really was a magical getaway for us as a couple

The domain is huge and the castle is magnificent. In November, it was really nice with autumn colors and Christmas decoration inside the castle. Lovely place to take a drink next to the typical fire. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the castle.
