United StatesThe apartment was clean and well equipped. Rivkah was a wonderful host, offering the perfect balance between communication and privacy. I would highly recommend her place to anyone. The view of the mountains from the balcony was spectacular. The view to the Dead Sea was ok, but better from other areas of the kibbutz. The kibbutz is one big botanical garden, so lush with trees and plants; so peaceful. It was like a walking meditation to walk around and explore the natural beauty of the kibbutz, and the artistic individuality of the residents.

The Kibbutz is lovely, the Hotel offers a charming glimpse of kibbutz life, and the Spa is highly recommended. Service is good, staff are friendly and accommodating, and prices are reasonable. Dinner (a hearty open buffet affair) and breakfast (which saved our lives after hiking up Masada before sunrise) are taken in the kibbutz dining hall, and give a homey feeling of being part of the community.
