I booked a room for my parents who were traveling to Kottayam for a medical visit. The manager, Mr. Vivek, was incredibly helpful from the moment I made the booking. He arranged food for my parents, even after a delay in their arrival due to traffic, and personally received them at the bus stop late in the evening. His hospitality and attentiveness went above and beyond, making the stay stress-free for my parents. Highly recommend

The Superior Villa with Lake View is fabulous We were celebrating 50th B-day of my husband and they organized a cake, that was delivered in the room for breakfast In the evening we enjoyed the activity - typical dance and music The Spa is stunning +++ The restaurant fabulous! The Indian food ++very good and a great service team We requested to help us to organize the backwater tour in the area of the hotel and it was amazing. Don't miss it! Food was exceptional - not only the Indian cuisine but the international dishes too. Staff were very friendly and great with our young kids. Everything was very clean including the pool. Gorgeous views. Had spa treatment too which was very relaxing. Kids playground was great for our kids ages (5, 8) as it wasn't too babyish.

The exceptional hospitality of each and every staff of this property is a highlight, we were always greeted with a smile. There are so many activities to keep the guests engaged, bird watching, property walk, butterfly garden, sunset cruise, the evening cultural programs and everyone who kept us entertained with the instruments throughout. The tablachi kept the kids entertained by allowing them to play the instruments and with a smiling face all the time. Not to forget chaya chechi and the unique style of high tea and snacks in the evening. The location of the property itself is very magical. Overall was a wonderful holiday for us and we surely hope to come back again.

All of the food was outstanding. Every meal was different and well balanced and we learned so much about the variety of tastes and textures of Indian cuisine. The communal dining room is perfect to meet and chat to fellow travelers. The staff were amazingly professional and attentive, and we felt very well taken care of throughout - especially as they managed to accommodate us for an extra two nights at short notice. We stayed in 2 rooms while there: the first was one of the original 100-year-old rooms which had a gorgeous lake view and was all dark paneling; the second was a newer room which was spacious and beautifully appointed. The situation on the lake is perfect for peace and quiet but also good for reaching the beach, local shops, the backwaters and the airport (everything is between half an hour to 3 hours away).

Massive rooms and bathroom. Architecture is very different from what I'm used to. felt very quaint yet luxurious. Probably the friendliest staff I've ever met. They made our stay truly memorable. Spa, canoe ride, yoga, food, they were all exceptional. Views are amazing.
