Enchanting place, immersed in a spectacular nature. The atmosphere is muffled, relaxing and welcoming. The structure is very beautiful, with some small details that could still be improved. Our suite (AAMBAL) very beautiful, with a small pool, lake view, immersed in absolute peace. All the staff deserves a special mention, for the attention, courtesy and professionalism. For some a special mention: all the reception staff, attentive to our needs and guardian of our forgetfulness! Athul, responsible for the SPA services, with the two professionals, Shilba and Binu who for days took care of our needs. At the restaurant, where all the waiters deserve applause for efficiency and commitment but a special appreciation goes to the kitchen brigade and its Executive Chef Arun Surendran. We are two frequent travellers, with considerable experience of India and its special cuisine even if very spicy for Western tastes. For four days we had the privilege of tasting traditional Indian and Kerala dishes (Allapey vegetable curry, Kadai Murg, Paneer do pyaza, Vendakka pepper fry, Spiced papad, Malabari Paratha), excellently prepared, with a formidable balance and taste, even for Italian palates, which is no small thing! Really compliments.

Perfectly situated on the backwaters of Kerala. Beautiful property designed in sync with the environment. Excellent, friendly team of staff. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. Nahee and the restaurant team were excellent. Soby as GM and Manoj as DGM were outstanding. The staff have a shared tip jar which is good.

Wonderful experience! The property is gorgeous and tranquil. It is far from the town of Alleppey, which meant we had to travel by tuk tuk to get anywhere (like to a kayaking trip), but the position allowe for it to be peaceful, have a remote feeling, and not be full of mosquitoes! The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet, which was also very affordable. The service was also incredible. The staff was very kind and attentive. Most of all, we loved the amenities, like the pool, badminton court, and gym. We are a couple and enjoyed it very much, but saw lots of families enjoying their experiences too. Highly recommend! Thank you!

This is truly a unique place to stay, which met our expectations. Vijo, Sam and Tom made it a memorable stay. Extremely welcoming and super friendly, we were made to feel at home. The food is excellent and dining is a communal affair with other guests, which is great as you can share tips on your trip. The gardens are lovely, the location a little out of the way but that is why we chose this homestay. Vijo has a selection of activities you can partake in. We did a few and loved the massage and cooking lesson. If you want a truly memorable experience which is chilled with good food, choose here!

Massive rooms and bathroom. Architecture is very different from what I'm used to. felt very quaint yet luxurious. Probably the friendliest staff I've ever met. They made our stay truly memorable. Spa, canoe ride, yoga, food, they were all exceptional. Views are amazing.
