Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and very comfortable bed. Beautifully modernly decorated room and yard. Rooms are also a bit away from each other so you get the privacy. Perfect location, around 40min drive to Etna/Taormina/Catania. Great value for money. Big parking space right next to the gate.

The host, Stefania, was very kind, helpful, and responsive. Our trip to Sicily coincided with a fire at Catania Airport, which led to various schedule changes. But Stefania was flexible with the check-in time and offered us plenty of recommendations regarding where to shop, where to eat, and what to see. The location is superb, away from the hustle and bustle of Catania and close to other points of interest such as Mt. Etna or Taormina. It's clear to see a lot of passion has been put into making Frasteva a top of the line resort. We highly recommend it and would love to visit again in the future! Daniella and Luciano were the most darling and kind hosts: warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about their property. The grounds are gorgeous, calm, and serene, perfectly situated for exploring Mt. Etna, Taormina, Isola Bella, and a short drive from Catania. Our suite was spectacular, complete with its own sauna and hot tub jacuzzi, making the entire stay feel like a private wellness retreat. I loved watching the sunrise over the water, reading by the pool, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The absolute highlight, however, was discovering that the property grows all its own produce — and guests are welcome to pick from the bounty. I wandered the gardens and admired pomegranates, limes, lemons, eggplants, squash, a rainbow mix of tomatoes and peppers, and even olives trees. It was magical. Our last night we went to the market for some cheese, bread, and meats to eat with the produce we hand picked (photographed). 1000/10. My only regret is knowing that this place will be booked out far in advance in the years to come, because it’s such a rare hidden gem. I want to keep it a secret!
