Staying at MOYΣEION felt like stepping back into the world of Magna Graecia. The welcome ritual performed by Davide made the whole experience really special and set the tone for our stay. The service was outstanding, the staff incredibly helpful, and the cave pool was just breathtaking—my friend Pete especially loved the statues surrounding it. The togas, rituals, and attention to detail made the whole visit immersive and memorable. I also recommend booking an Ape Car tour through the front desk when you arrive—it’s the perfect way to explore Matera. Wow! A wonderful overnight in Matera. Our room was a treat! We were very close to the Duomo, which allowed us to explore the town during the day and take advantage of the rooftop terrace in the evening and the next day. The team were very welcoming, helpful and clearly very proud of beautiful Matera! Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was such a highlight. Thank you!
