The masseria is chic, elegant, beautiful and peaceful. The pool area is stunning, the all day pool bar a fantastic service, the breakfasts superb and the rooms very comfortable (we all had great nights sleep!). It’s a very short hop into Ortranto so very conveniently located. We also did a lovely little jog through the olive groves which was super 😃

The perfect spot for R&R with a kind and accomodating staff. The first day, they granted us early check-in and we relaxed by their outodor pool area. The room was spacious, well equipped and we slept exceptionally well. The next morning, they granted us late check-out so that we could have time to use their spa. The spa was perfectly indulgent: a warm pool, a cold plunge pool, a sauna, a turkish bath, and a warm and cold foot massage pool. Plus, the woman managing it was kind and caring; preparing for us plates with cookies and fruits.

Offering a rooftop terrace with hot tub, Hotel Palazzo Papaleo is next to Otranto Cathedral, a few steps from the sea.

WOW This was the highlight of our short trip to Italy. Yes you probably need your own transport, we hired a car, or I assume you could use taxis but there is not much surrounding this place. However, WHAT a place. The little details on the design and what they provide you are exceptional. Fantastic staff and one of the best rooms ive had the pleasure of staying in.

Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Pool area was very nice, garden areas and walkways were well maintained and beautiful. Breakfast was good, personnel was helpful, bikes were available 10€/day.

We had a beautiful suite with plenty of room. dinner was beautiful and on the house. Excellent service from all the staff. We had the spa to ourselves, lovely swimming pool. Lovely location in beautiful rural area but a short walk to a gorgeous beach. Close enough to Otranto to get there easily. Highly Recommend

Very quiet place with stunning views, nevertheless very close to Otranto centre, the mesmerising ex bauxite cave and Orte beach. Breakfast is one of the highlights with freshly baked cakes, fresh fruit and top quality coffees prepared with a bar coffee machine. Safe car parking guaranteed. Highly recommend!
