Beautiful, excellent location - 10 mins walk from Pontocho Alley and the high street ! Modern, yet has a Japanese charm with all amenities and excellent staff . Very well sized rooms

The property is brand new, wonderful design and facilities are immaculate. Even tho they just opened 4 months ago the staff is impeccable, well trained and organized, very attentive and ready to help. Our room at the 4th floor was very spacious and just perfect. Gym, pool and spa a sanctuary that I really enjoyed during our 4 days at the property. Food and dining experience in the property are top notch as well.

Just entering the hotel.... The view is magnificent which is a precursor to the hotel. The hotel room was without a doubt a great refresher as a foreigner to the size of rooms. There was enough room to feel absolutely spoiled in Japan.

Best hotel of kyoto, everything is perfect.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and had a tea table and a couch. It even had an area/room for the luggages/wardrobe. the toilet was big- a vanity area, separate toilet, shower and a bathtub tub.We booked a 3 single beds corner room which was very comfortable. Absolutely spacious and well thought of design. The breakfast was a good variety of western and Asian cuisine, and had fresh salad, and they also served food that’s locally grown/farmed. Hotel was also environmentally conscious providing refillable stainless water bottles and a water filling station on each floor. The bath products provided were also organic and gentle on the skin and hair. The location was perfect! It is right next to Takashimaya and approx 70 meters away from the main crossing. It’s on the quieter side of the busy area. There is a small grocery on the ground floor selling local and home grown food, and many organic fruits and veggies. The hotel also has a few restaurants. We were only able to try Roku- a ramen place and we really liked it. The patisserie in the hotel was always full- many locals also go there for dessert/tea time. Across the hotel is a famous gyoza place called Chao Chao which always had a long queue. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in Japan! I’ve been to Japan many times and I highly recommend this if you’re going to Kyoto and want to be centrally located. I will stay in this hotel again when I go back to Kyoto. The staff are very helpful, warm and friendly. They helped me in making a reservation for the airport bus from Kyoto to Kansai airport in Osaka. They also booked a van taxi for us since there were 3 of us with luggages.

Wonderful location near Kyoto Station. Friendly staff and cute robots delivering food to the floor. Great view of Shinkansen trains passing by. Facilities were excellent and everything was spotless.

It has a public bath in 1st floor which I liked the most about this hotel. Stuff are very nice, English available, good quality breakfast!

Really liked the pillows and the bed was very comfortable. Ate at the restaurant for dinner as well and it was amazing. Would come back just to eat here again. Room was comfortable and quiet and had full control over the air conditioning as well (was a comfortable temperature all night).

The staff is amazing. Especially because they all speak very good English. The room is really nicely designed. We stayed in the suite and we loved it. As a welcome they offered us a bottle of Prosecco and fresh fruits. The drinks at the bar are really special and well done. The therapists at the spa are really good and prepared. They also speak English.

Aesthetic of the hotel was amazing, really good breakfast as well.
