Room with lake view was stunning. We had a wonderful stay and all was just perfect for a relaxing and beautiful escape. We were lucky to have great weather and nice view over Fuji San. We ate at the Japanese restaurant and it was beyond delicious. The free shuttle from the train station to the hotel is also a big plus. Lovely and helpful staff on top of everything which made the experience absolument perfect

I loved the hotel; it was a luxury. Located in the mountains of Hakone, overlooking the lake, it has a spa, an onsen, two restaurants, and a shuttle bus that runs every half hour to the city center. It's beautiful. 100% recommended for a longer stay.

Everything was beautifully presented, the dinner was definitely a highlight, and the views, quiet surroundings, and absolutely delightful library was top notch. I could have spent many more days reading and soaking in the serenity! The thoughtfulness of the dinner and breakfast, we were provided the story of each dish, made it greatly more enjoyable.
