Wonderful place to relax, fantastic gourmet dining. The atmosphere in the hotel is conducive to complete relaxation. The attitude of the staff towards the guests is excellent. The room was incredibly functional and comfortable. I highly recommend!

My stay at Ritz Carlton Nikko was simply fantastic. Put a tremendously passionate, dedicated group of people through a world-class Ritz Carlton hospitality training program and you get service that's nothing short of perfection. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, it's facilities (both spa and public onsen) were amazing, and food was thoughtful, delicious, and wholesome. My wife and I could not have asked for more and yearn to be back in the, hopefully, near future.

Hacho No Yu is an oasis in the mountains. We loved the kind staff, relaxing baths, quiet atmosphere, and amazing food. Appreciated every minute - only sad to leave!

Guests can enjoy soaking in the indoor and outdoor public hot-spring baths at Nikko Senhime Monogatari. Massages can be requested and a sauna room is available for an extra relaxation.

Strategically located and walking distance to Toshogu Shrines, temples and restaurants. Bus stop is 2 mins walk from Hotel. Hotel employees are friendly and i feel very welcome and comfortable staying here. Onsen is huge with a large indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools and plenty of wash areas equipped with good quality body wash, hair conditioners, shampoo, hair tonics, face wash, toner and moisturizer. Hiraga-san, the front desk manager is so friendly and provided guidance on areas of attractions we should visit. Also you can get Toshogu main shrine ticket from Hotel but only accept cash.

A fireplace lounge overlooking the woods, an indoor hot-spring bath and an art space await guests at Kanaya Hotel, a 5-minute walk from Chuzenji Lake.

At check-in, owner gives guests all the info they need to know during their stay including a detailed map. Good access to Tobu Nikko station via bus plus short walk. The most comfortable bed I slept in during my 2 week trip to Japan, though not tatami bed. Sound of water from the river and birds chirping as you wake up. Nice homey feel to this place. Private onsen. Imperial Villa is a must-see and located close-by--I would have missed this had the owner not mentioned this at check-in.
