Wonderful staff and place to stay. Pool was heated so even enjoyed it in the light rain and cool days in late March. Great food in the restaurant and snacks at the Chill pool lounge. Also good restaurants nearby if you want to try something different. Pottery Mecca well worth a visit and about 90 minutes north to the aquarium.

The location was next to the American Village with plenty of dining options. The hotel was neat, clean and smelled great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ask them any question and they would be happy to help. Even prior to my arrival, I emailed them a couple of times. There is a convenience store within 5 minutes walk.

We loved everything about our stay here: the accommodation was perfect for us as two friends sharing the space because we each had our own sleeping area. The kitchen has everything you need, and we loved the beautiful quirky local cups and crockery. The sauna is amazing, you must try it! Also the breakfast was absolutely delicious! But most of all our hosts were just so wonderful and helped us with so many different things: recommendations for massages, bookings at restaurants, parking ticket issues: nothing was too much trouble! We cannot recommend this place and the fabulous hosts highly enough. We hope to come back some day.

It’s superb! Great location and easy access by bus to the airport… no car needed. Lots of restaurants outside serving excellent food! We went in late March so no outdoor pools were open but it also meant it was very calm and quiet! Beautiful room with the best view on floor 12. Amazingly helpful staff! It’s a huge hotel which I don’t normally appreciate but it totally exceeded my expectations! Thank you Monterey… I will be back and also look for other hotels within your group!
