Beautiful place, very quite and relaxing, the staff was amazing! I really recommend this place for whoever is visiting Sri Lanka.

Villa River View is in an excellent location and gorgeous view of the river which makes it a peaceful retreat . The home is very welcoming and kept in pristine condition by Viraj and his lovely family. I would highly recommend staying at Villa River View as I had great advice on the local area and what to see in this beautiful part of Sri Lanka which I would have not found out as a solo traveller .

Received a good English breakfast. Our rooms are cleaned and opposite to the swimming pool. property owner is very friendly and flexible. went for a nice boat ride for a reasonable price.

We had the pleasure of staying here for two days, and it was absolutely fantastic. It has been our best experience during our four weeks around Sri Lanka. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is incredibly delicious and fresh. The hosts are the sweetest and extremely helpful with everything! The hotel is centrally located and only a short walk from the beach. It has definitely been the loveliest place to stay, and we wish we had stayed for more days. We have stayed at various places during our trip, where we have also stayed at four-star and five-star hotels, but none of them could compare to this place. In addition, their wifi is excellent, and it was the fastest and best we experienced during our tour of the country. Everything has been fantastic, and a special thanks to the sweetest hosts. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Sri Lanka, and we highly recommend others to stay here. You won't regret it.

We had an unforgettable stay at Amber House. The room was enormous, with all modern comforts, a very spacious bathroom, and a king-size bed that made our nights perfect. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious, and every detail showed how much care was put into making our stay special. We loved the complimentary boat ride to the stunning, endless beach – such a unique and beautiful experience. The boat safari on the river and through the mangroves, guided by Shen, was a real highlight and gave us lasting memories. Most of all, the hospitality of our hosts, Nuwan and his lovely wife, together with their attentive and friendly team, made us feel truly at home. Their warmth and kindness turned our stay into something exceptional. We highly recommend Amber House to anyone visiting Bentota – we cannot wait to come back!

Starting with the room, it was very beautiful and comfortable - a bit small, but it's the nicest room I've ever stayed in.The bathroom was private, spacious, and clean. We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

It is fantastic place! We like everything so much! Incredible view on the beautiful ocean from all point of the hotel. Huge room and all necessary and modern inside (including coffee machine), comfortable bed, bathroom on open air, amazing terrace where you can enjoy the view. Very friendly and welcomed stuff. Very tasty food and drinks in the restaurant. The restaurant as all hotel has amazing ocean view. Waitress Iresha was very kind and professional, she recommended us ideal options for our lunch and dinner and treated us with great warmth and health. We asked for late check-out and the hotel provided it to us without any additional cost. We highly recommend this wonderful place to all!!!
