Our experience at this property was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, as though we were guests in a home filled with warmth and charm. This place is unlike any other—a true oasis where you can completely immerse yourself in the vacation spirit. Every detail has been so thoughtfully designed and curated, creating an environment that is both stylish and comfortable. The house has a distinct and beautiful design that blends effortlessly with the natural surroundings, giving it a unique character that made our stay unforgettable. The pool is undoubtedly the cherry on top. After a day exploring the area or even just lounging around, it was the perfect place to unwind, cool off, and enjoy some quiet moments. You could easily spend the entire day here, relaxing and taking in the serene atmosphere. The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. And as for us, this has become a must-visit destination, and we’ll definitely be returning whenever we’re back in Galle.

It is beautiful hotel, in the city centre. The Fort is nearby. The hotel is spacious, beautifully designed. Breakfast is served at the beach club, which haa an excellent location at the beach of Galle. We even saw sea turtles.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tabula Rasa. The hotel is built on a mountain in the jungle and offers an amazing pool with ocean view, very tasty food with reasonable prices and beautifully designed rooms. We loved the “digital butler” app which allowed us to order food, spa or anything else very easily with our phones. Also, the Dutch owners are wonderful and the entire staff was very kind at all times. The hotel is a 20 minutes ride to Galle. You can get a tuk tuk which will be about 15 USD for the roundtrip. In summary, we can only recommend this hidden gem.

Clean nice rooms, lovely setting with the garden and pool, nice breakfast and very friendly helpful staff - special shout out to Era who provided the kindest tuktuk shuttle service for us! This location was convenient for us to explore Galle and the beaches south of Galle.

We were greeted with plush, icy hand towels to wipe away the heat and grime of our travel. After a very relaxed check-in, we were given complimentary iced teas (fabulous!) and invited to attend the nightly flag lowering ceremony on the roof - which we did. This hotel is in a brilliant location - within walking distance to everything, and right in the heart of the old fort. The ambience is both eclectic and an homage to old Sri Lanka, with many old photos and artefacts skillfully arranged to create an inviting environment. The breakfast, which is a point of pride, is fabulous - beautiful, fresh food, carefully presented in a lovely dining room. They even catered for my dietary restrictions, replacing the french toast with a fluffy omelette. The staff are amazing - professional, friendly, generous and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated with the greatest of hospitality. We are so glad that we chose Prince of Galle as our final stay in Sri Lanka - it was a delightful end to a wonderful holiday.

Very good staff. Top notch breakfast and that too pure vegetarian. Too clean. Yes, there are monkeys, but if you don't feed them, they won't come near. All they do is play around the jungle as it's their home as well. This was one of the best stays in srilanka. Highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews but this was genuinely one of the best places I have ever stayed. We stayed in the Deluxe Family Suite with a pool view and it was honestly outstanding and incredible value for money. The room was huge, the beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was massive. The team of staff that work there are so friendly and nothing was too much effort for them. Every morning we were served a 4 course breakfast in the villa's beautiful gardens which was the perfect way to start the day. The pool area is also incredibly luxurious and very well maintained. We took a dip after our breakfast on Christmas Day which was great fun! We had 2 lots of room service in the evening and the staff came and fully set a restaurant standard table setting in the bedroom before serving the food and then cleared it all away again as soon as you were done. As I said, this place was just exceptional and I would 100% stay there again!

We had an amazing stay! The host was very professional, friendly, and welcoming. The location was extremely convenient, with easy access to the main road. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, giving us plenty of privacy throughout our stay. It was also well-equipped, with clean utensils and everything we needed for a pleasant experience. Overall, it was absolutely worth the price. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to return if we visit Galle again.

Very friendly people. Very clean room and bathroom with good airconditioning and a very good bed. It’s very much value for money. Little kitchenette with refrigerator and tea facilities is great. Nice breakfast.
