The hospitality of the kind family that runs this. Room size, beautiful surroundings, breakfast, airconditioning that we could add, and the tours we did with Jeewa. Kids loved playing in the garden, on the big rock in front of the guesthouse and of course with they friend: daughter Oleena. Good value/money. Cannot recommend this enough! Thank you, Jeewa, Masha and Oleena!

Amazing cabin and pool and very friendly host. We enjoyed a home-cooked meal most of the nights we stayed which was amazing. Furthermore they arranged a nice safari for us.

We stayed in this lovely home for two nights and I think that this was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts are fantastic people, friendly and helpful and always with a smile. The rooms are simple but have everything that you need and have a lovely terrace within the beautiful gardens. But best of all is the food. We had breakfast and dinner on both days and we were served a selection of home cooked, Sri Lankan treats that were delicious. All together a fabulous experience that I’d happily pay more for.

We stayed at Woodland Sanctuary with friends and had a wonderful time. The cottages were clean and located in a peaceful area, perfect for relaxing. Maleesha was an amazing host – very helpful and always ready to organize activities for us, including a great safari. The swimming pool was also a lovely bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

Location is calm and peaceful. They have a nice infinity swimming pool overlooking lake , Staff is so welcoming and well trained. Good restaurant and good sitting places. Rooms are spacious and kept very neat and tidy. The sunset view is absolutely amazing from room and pool this hotel. Totally worth the money.
