The view of the sea from the balcony was superb. With no noisy tour groups or loud children around, I could stay without any stress.

Weleges Place is a small family run hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed chatting with them. They offered to walk us to the train station to help find it, made me herbal tea when I wasn’t feeling well, and organised transport to the airport. Breakfasts were delightful with something different offered for each morning of our four-day stay. The rooms are spacious, modest and nicely decorated. The bathroom is also very spacious and modern. Most of all, the building and gardens are beautifully maintained. We were glad we stayed here. It’s also on a quiet side street away from the main road and traffic. Just a short walk over to the beach and close to the main snorkelling area.

We loved absolutely everything. If you are looking for calm, private, relaxing holiday to take time off from everyday life then Villa 46 is place to do it. First days we were in the villa just the two of us. Amazing! Loooved the food.Thank you Chef Dhammika! Thank you Herl and thank you to our friend who made some awesome towel decorations. We also loved the beach in front of the hotel and what surprised us was that there were no people on OUR beach :))) We really did not want to leave.

Nice location a little bit out of Hikkaduwa, close to some excellent places to eat, and right across from the beach. Nice pool, and Dimuthu looks after your every request. Everything is new, breakfast and WiFi were good.

This place was a real hidden gem. The room was comfy and had good lighting, bed was nice and comfortable. The balcony is amazing! It has the best view of the lake, large and airy with windows all the way around. Would recommend to anyone wanting some quiet but still close to everything

Everything about this hotel was just spectacular. The best service and client oriented experience I ever had. The contemporary villa with private pool was absolutely stunning and couldn’t ask for anything more. We had the most amazing private butler Lasantha who took care of us from the first moment we arrived and offered us the best treatment possible which made the whole trip to Sri Lanka memorable. The chef is absolutely fantastic and literally everything we ate was delicious. The massage therapists pampered us and gave us the most relaxing hours. Mr Axel the general manager insured we have such a private and peaceful environment in this resort that there is not a single detail to complain about. We recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Sri Lanka especially that is hijabi friendly!

This is a very well designed small hotel with a lovely pool, an excellent kitchen and eating area for use by guests. We had adjoining rooms which was perfect for our situation, with a cot and extra bed for the grandchildren. There are lots of very pleasant communal seating areas too. Our grandchildren were very comfortable in the hotel! On the first night both children were sick making a mess of beds and there was a very sympathetic and swift response, replacing the bedding. A fridge in the rooms as well as 2 fridges in the kitchen is brilliant. The hotel is also very close to the town - 2 minutes from the main road, a supermarket and the beach. The railway is nearby but it was not terribly noisy. The cleaner spent the entire day keeping things very clean. The owner was very helpful and concerned to ensure everyone was comfortable. Probably the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka.
