Our stay at Ahu Bay was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is breathtaking, set between two bays with panoramic ocean views that create the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and immaculately maintained, blending comfort with understated luxury. Dining at Ahu Bay was a highlight of the entire experience. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding — fresh, carefully prepared, and always cooked to perfection. The menu offers a thoughtful mix of local flavours and international favourites, each dish presented with genuine care and creativity. Every meal felt memorable. What truly sets Ahu Bay apart, however, is the quality of its staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and beyond, every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay feel special. Their professionalism and hospitality elevated the experience far beyond expectation. Really nice room located next to the beaches. Very good breakfast in quantity! And the staff are really nice and helpful. They took us for a boat trip to see the mangroves and to see what there is to see around. And show us the gems from Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable stay at Amber House. The room was enormous, with all modern comforts, a very spacious bathroom, and a king-size bed that made our nights perfect. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious, and every detail showed how much care was put into making our stay special. We loved the complimentary boat ride to the stunning, endless beach – such a unique and beautiful experience. The boat safari on the river and through the mangroves, guided by Shen, was a real highlight and gave us lasting memories. Most of all, the hospitality of our hosts, Nuwan and his lovely wife, together with their attentive and friendly team, made us feel truly at home. Their warmth and kindness turned our stay into something exceptional. We highly recommend Amber House to anyone visiting Bentota – we cannot wait to come back!

Starting with the room, it was very beautiful and comfortable - a bit small, but it's the nicest room I've ever stayed in.The bathroom was private, spacious, and clean. We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

It is fantastic place! We like everything so much! Incredible view on the beautiful ocean from all point of the hotel. Huge room and all necessary and modern inside (including coffee machine), comfortable bed, bathroom on open air, amazing terrace where you can enjoy the view. Very friendly and welcomed stuff. Very tasty food and drinks in the restaurant. The restaurant as all hotel has amazing ocean view. Waitress Iresha was very kind and professional, she recommended us ideal options for our lunch and dinner and treated us with great warmth and health. We asked for late check-out and the hotel provided it to us without any additional cost. We highly recommend this wonderful place to all!!!
