We had a great time at the Nilaveli beach resort. The staff was really very nice. What is not said is that, on the beach, next to the resort, there is an exceptionnal spectacle every day: traditionnal fishing. Fishermen bring an enormous net with a boat, about 1 km away from the shore. The net is linked with 2 long ropes that 20 people pull up from the beach for about 2 hours. Estonishing to discover how many fishes they bring that way in their net!

This hotel is nestled on Nilavali Beach, a 10-minute boat ride from Pigeon Island. There is no available WiFi, a large outdoor pool and spacious rooms with views of the ocean.

Wasee was a great host. He went far and beyond to make our stay memorable. The property is spotless clean and situated in a calm yet walking distance from the Nilaveli beach. Breakfast was excellent as well.

Location was perfect (close to beach and amazing restaurants), staff were incredibly helpful, whole place was super clean and exceptional value for money. All quite basic, but it had everything we needed. The shared kitchen and fridge is also very useful… all in all a great place for a beach holiday!

The hotel was lovely . It was quiet whilst we stayed here which suited us , the room we had was delightful (upgrade given) . The view over the lagoon was amazing . We sat outside for breakfast over looking the lagoon a very special view.
