Our stay at The Divine Villa Thalpe was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and care — Christophe, the owner, has truly created something special here. His attention to detail and passion for hospitality shine through in every corner of the villa. The house itself is absolutely stunning — a beautiful blend of modern luxury and serene tropical charm. The interior design is beautiful. Every room was meticulously designed, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the view of the lush gardens and pool felt like a dream. The staff were beyond amazing — thoughtful, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless. From the delicious meal (we took the breakfast but now wish we’d had more meals there) to the little touches throughout the day, everything was handled with grace and genuine care. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful escape in Sri Lanka, The Divine Villa Thalpe is just perfect. We loved every minute and didn’t want to leave. The pool is undoubtedly the cherry on top. After a day exploring the area or even just lounging around, it was the perfect place to unwind, cool off, and enjoy some quiet moments. You could easily spend the entire day here, relaxing and taking in the serene atmosphere. The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. And as for us, this has become a must-visit destination, and we’ll definitely be returning whenever we’re back in Galle.

It was so calm and peaceful and serene. The manager was very helpful and staff were attentive and responsive.

Fantastic resort in the middle of the lush jungle but also close to some of the beautiful beaches of Galle. The resort and room were impeccably presented and complimented by a lovely team who were always happy to help. Special mention to Upeka for her great advice and assistance as well as Tarindu for the excellent tuktuk service. Highly recommended this place for a super relaxed getaway

Modern and luxurious hotel with spectacular views. The sea view room was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was the best we had so far in Sri Lanka. You get amazing coffee from Jura machine and a great continental breakfast. This was the first place I got chocolate cereal 😄. We ordered from room service and the food was really good, especially the fries. The staff is very helpful and friendly and they even offered us to use the spa shower after the checkout, because we are leaving in the evening and left our bags there for the day.

The pool and the swing were a big hit with the kids. Food was delicious. The staff were the best , polite and friendly. Will happily return to the same property. We stayed 3 nights, yet kids were t happy to leave. Not beachfront but easy drive to some of the loveliest beaches

Galle as a city can be quite hectic, so this property kind of is the type of place you need to relax and cool down. Elegant, spacious room and a shared pool surrounded by a beautiful garden with huge trees providing much needed shade. On top of that, fantastic host and staff :)
