The staff warmly welcomed us. The crushed papaya welcome drink cooled us down from the scorching hot sun when we checked in. The chef prepared Sri Lankan crab as I had desired when I ordered lunch. They also checked with us on our breakfast preferences. The toilets and rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was perfect.

The hotel was lovely . It was quiet whilst we stayed here which suited us , the room we had was delightful (upgrade given) . The view over the lagoon was amazing . We sat outside for breakfast over looking the lagoon a very special view.

Lali's place is enchanting and peaceful. Rooms surround a lovely garden with ammoks. Shady spots outside rooms and under a patio to enjoy the breeze. Room clean with large bathroom and window. Cozy bed and good fan. Five minutes to the amazing Uppuveli beach and close to restaurants and all kind of shops. A quarter of hour bus from interesting Tricomalee town. But indeed, what I appreciated most of this place was Lalinda the host. A marvellous person, heartful, kind and helpful. Passionate with his place and his job, it was a immense honour being his guest. I do thank him and wish all the best.
