Clean and comfortable bungalow with great AC on a small property where the owners also live. What makes the stay so special are the owners, Sachith and his wife (and a cuddly Labrador) who go out of their way to help and service their clients. They are very sweet and communicative. The two dinners we had were delicious and with great variation (we are vegetarian, they catered perfect to this) The safari was awesome and our transfers well arranged. Would strongly recommend if you want a homestay experience with your own comfortable unit. Taking a shower while watching the monkeys and flying foxes only added to the experience 🥰

The resort in itself was very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were very accommodating to all our requests, especially to our vegan preferences. They even prepared and gave us packed vegan breakfast at 5.30 a.m., just before we started off for our safari trip. The host upgraded our room to a bigger unit (since our booked room was undergoing renovation). The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was especially clean and spotless. It even had a full bathtub. We enjoyed the resort. Wished we could have stayed longer in the resort. This was the best resort we stayed in our Sri Lanka trip. Thank you for hosting us.

The Green Paradise Cottage is an outstanding place. It's wonderful what the owner family has created here, all family members are involved in the project. A green oasis and very, very tasty food. The stay was perfect for us with two small children. So far there is one bungalow, wonderfully furnished with everything you need.

Very nice and friendly host. We were met with tea and bananas - it's so important after a long way. This place in Udalawawe has fair price because when we were trying to book a room in other places for the prices we saw on the site, later it came obvious that the prices are actual only if you also book safari in this or that exact place. In Olivi palace you see the real price, if you don't need safari, it's okay. It was perfectly clean. The design of the room is sweat and nice. The place is very close to Elephant transit home.
