Spa Hotels in Male City

Location is great cause you don't need to take long boat rides or additional flight to reach it, which is great after long flight to get to Male. Who doesn't like ride on waves in speed boat (it can be very bumpy) this is perfect cause it is just 15 minutes ride... everything went smoothly, greeted on airport, waited around 30 minutes to get the boat ride. Beach villas are exceptional, we had villa 403, directly on beach. Private, clean, specious, everything new in the room. Every our request was fulfilled. That is the farthest beach villa, but walk on sand is prefect, but also there is free buggy ride every 20 minutes if you don't like to walk. Nature and beach is amazing, beach is cleaned every day from corals to be even better. Every day there are different activities (water aerobics, salsa classes, yoga, meditation...) and every night is live band or karaoke or DJ. For the Latino night they even had "mexican" guy going around poring tequila shots :) Depends on current type of guests it can be really good party at the evenings but if you want peace, you can walk to different part of island and enjoy quite time. on one of the beaches we even saw "sea of stars" - glowing planktons. Dress code causal everywhere, best to walk bare foot :) Three different island of food for every meal, international, Indian and Asian food. Lot of sweets, ice-cream, event popcorns and peanuts on the bar. All inclusive drinks option is fair and staff will do anything to accommodate your needs. We weren't push, not even once to buy something extra or to try to charge us something (i saw some comments like that in other reviews). Sea is perfectly clean and warm...just to enjoy. Pool is big, you can always find place to sit (beach chars, lounges, net swing), everything around pool is clean. everything you see on the pictures it is really like that in reality. It was perfect vacation for us, and definitely we fall in law in Maldives! Thank you Oblu!

I loved everything. The bungalow was beautiful, the food was exceptional, facilities were great and the most friendly staff ever. Such a beautiful island and so peaceful.

Visiting Maldives has made me reconsider all of the places I've visited before and I used to consider beautiful. Such a combination of white and soft sand, transparent water and uncontaminated nature is more unique than rare. Hilton Amingiri is the perfect resort to stay in, every detail is taken in consideration and the staff is the most hospitable, kind and professional I've ever seen. Special mention to Mozi and Amine as our Guest Experience Makers, who smoothly organized all of the activities for us, and to Nizar, Najaah, Ziyam and Kamal for entertainment and sport activities, to Suraj for lifeguarding us while on beaches and water and to chef Dario for the fantastic Italian dinners.

Beautiful resort with a calm and tranquil feel. Wonderful staff who make you feel so welcome on every occasion. Too many people to thank, but special appreciation for Mila, Naahil, Hayde, Alpi, Elin & Sapna.

My stay at Baros was just terrific. And if something was not perfect, an amazing staff went above and beyond to solve it. Don’t think twice and book this place.

Our stay at Dhawa Ihuru resort was fantastic in all aspects. After clearing the immigration formalities we were greeted by resort coordinator in front of the airport and half an hour speed boat ride later we were already drinking welcome cocktail on the island and listening to Elena about general information. We were two families on the speed boat and each was greeted individually making check-in pure pleasure with many woows. Villas are modern with room/garden service twice a day. The island is not big. Walking around takes around 10 min and swimming around the reef about an hour. There is a sister island 2 min boat ride away with a 7 times a day free boat ride back and forth. Both islands have a beautiful coral reef around them. There is no need for snorkeling trips. You can see big variety of marine life on the doorstep of your villa. Sharks (not dangerous), turtles, lobsters and more colorful fish that you can count. We were snorkeling at least twice a day. There is an in house marine lab. Marine biologist Henry told us many interesting things during his coral reef lecture and showed in person while snorkeling together. He even helped my daughter with her school project. There is a wide variety of activities. From massages in their spa centre to local music evenings and fishing trips. My son made life long memories while pulling big wahoos and a barracuda from the sea during big game fishing. Captain Matheen found the fish, made us feel comfortable and prepared tasty sunrise breakfast. Oh, and the food. Like dining in a Michelin star restaurant 3 times a day. Tropical fruit was amazing. Everyone from gardeners, waiters, cooks, bar-mans, receptionists to resort manager were honestly trying to make us happy. And they did.

Nice reef, superbly integrates in the island forest. sand everywhere: no road, no bitumen, to concrete track!

Everything was amazing the staff, the facilities, the room, the services, and food.. For a newly opened resort, they are doing great. What only missing is just more entertainment shows and programs

Joy is a spectacular destination for an escape with serene breathtaking views, amazingly hospitable staff, beautiful rooms, and a wide spread of food and beverages that would never leave you hungry. I believe all of this comes down to the amazing group of staff from the welcome received at the airport by Ms. Zulina, to the amazing reception of Ms. Sandali who was nothing short of extraordinary as she was the one who took care of us during our stay, to the amazing hostesses who always remembered us by our names at the Market and made our dine-in so special which include Ms. Gracia, Ms. Gita, the waiter Rozairo whose constant desire to quench our thirst and cravings, the wonderful chef at the food truck Shouhab who engages in delightful conversation while he carefully makes you a juicy sandwhich that makes you craving for more. Let us not forget Mustafa who was in charge of our table at the Palm beach restaurant and made our dine-in memorable and the bell boy and drivers Iyaan and Faizu who was always there to take us around and make us feel right at home. Joy Island is truly a destination that makes for unforgettable experiences, value for money, and thanks to the amazing staff who make it a sensational experience.
