Perfect hotel to end our holiday in Malaysia!

Outstanding bedroom and bathroom size, plus facilities and local decor, cleanliness and tidy - inside in the room and throughout the resort. Wonderful forest and waterfront feel to the entire resort with openness, clean and winding roads. Staff were amazingly friendly and really looked after us and even gave us a room to clean up, long after we had checked out. The breakfast is amazing (and we have travelled to many places to compare) - it has excellent spacious seating, modern and local decor, and the variety and selection of breakfast is top class with local cultural cuisines and international, plus make your own style egg and paratha omelette. Location is superb - including our room had a wonderful view given by the hotel.... local to Skycab / Skyride / Skybridge / Oriental Village / Tulaga Hujju waterfall and mountain etc etc .... Plus so many great roadside restaurant / eateries along the route to / from the resort plus the coconut water and stalls. Excellent value for money with the offer that the hotel had on booking.com

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Hotel in Langkawi. The pool was very big and great for kids as it had a kids pool in the back. The pool bar was great and the food and drinks cheap during Happy Hour. The breakfast buffet was also great and had a good variety of food. Our room was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again if I were to return to Langkawi.

I liked everything about this place. I took my mom for a few days, and we were really surprised. our stay was impecable. I highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful family holiday at Pelangi Beach Hotel and Spa, traveling with our toddler — and we already can’t wait to return! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the lush, beautifully maintained gardens and the spacious layout of the resort. It felt like a tropical haven where every corner offered peace and relaxation. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the amazing pool areas. Thoughtfully designed, they were a treat not just for the body, but also for the soul and the eye. The kids’ waterplay zone, complete with slides and splash features, was a huge hit with our little one. We especially appreciated how easy it was to hop between the main pool and the children’s pool — such a smart and family-friendly layout. A thoughtful touch we admired: the waterplay area was turned off during the peak midday sun (12–2pm), which shows real consideration for guest comfort and health — we saw far too many sunburnt tourists elsewhere on the island. Breakfast was a daily delight! The buffet offered a generous variety, and we loved the option of outdoor seating in the fresh morning air. Our room was ideally located, just steps from the beach — perfect for our evening strolls along Pelangi Beach, where we enjoyed the buzzing street scene with local artists and dazzling fire shows. Fitness enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the gym is equipped with brand-new machines and offers breathtaking ocean views. And everywhere we went — from the clean rooms to the well-kept animal area, pools, and kids’ indoor play zone — the entire resort was immaculately maintained. The evenings came alive with a fantastic live band, who happily took requests and delivered every song beautifully. It was the perfect way to wind down our days.
