New ZealandThe friendly greeting by the guys at Reception every time we approached them. The wonderful cleaning lady who took care of our room. The location is great, the best in town with the main city Plaza immediately in front and restaurants overlooking the river front within a 4 minute walk. Keeping in mind the rest of town is grubby, sidewalks are mostly atrocious and ladies, if youre looking for shops, this is not the town for that. Walking into this hotel is like entering a tiny haven of civilization. The fairly large pool and tiny gym and spa area are also very clean and comfortable.
