Every staff member at the beautiful hotel are fantastic. They are all friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful with any request. The room was large and extremely quiet, even though there seemed to be plenty of guests. The food and wine was amazing

Really clean, lovely staff, generous bar staff, excellent daily cleaning service, nice breakfasts, good room service, good value for money! Will be returning! I didn’t use the spa because I was too busy but it looks nice!

The location was excellent, walking distance to the main sightseeings. Breakfast was really good and very nicely presented in a basket. Our daughters really enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and the jacuzzi.

Charming premises, wonderful views, excellent restaurant - catering also for vegetarians. Amazing breakfast buffet! Staff very friendly and helpful, giving very excellent advice about food and wine choices. Enjoyed the massages offered in SPA facilities. Excellent location to visit Conimbriga roman villa site as well as the local museum on Romans, which is perfect for kids, but also has lot to offer for adults.

Dear reader Even though I don't usually give reviews because they are usually subjective, I would like to give one now. I stayed at this beautiful hotel together with a work colleague in CW12 2024. We were given a very warm welcome, almost like a family, and you could see how everyone looked after the guests. The breakfast was excellent and you got everything you needed the homemade bread or the rolls were very tasty. The restaurant was also very good, for the first time in my life I ate goat, a speciality, I can only recommend trying it. All in all it was a great time on site and I highly recommend this hotel. Position is perfect, tucked away in a country corner next to a beautiful flowing river. Facilities are brand new and well laid out. The spa was a wonderful addition to the establishment.
