The villa with direct access to the pool, very kind and attentive staff everywhere in the resort, food was incredible… And a special thank you note to our Villa Manager Bella that helped me organize the most wonderful surprise romantic dinner to my partner. My experience started well before even arriving, as the staff was responsive to the Booking.com messages. As I was celebrating my birthday during the stay, they went out of their way to provide decoration that was placed on the bed when I entered, as well as a very warm happy b-day & cake. The room's privacy was adjustable and despite the pool being shared with neighbours, it felt private enough. Staff were super friendly and very helpful when asked for recommendations or other room requests, generally easy to communicate to and timely in their responses. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, nothing fancy, but there were nutritious options and choices for all palates. As all other reviews mention, location is remote (which for me was a huge +), but you can opt for either the hotel's free shuttle bus or an Uber-type transportation (I recommend Grab) at more than decent pricing. If you are looking for a more remote beach, I warmly suggest you try out Ao Yon Beach, namely the Flamingo Cafe & Bar.
