It was not as busy as some of the other resorts. We were able to relax and enjoy the quietness, but could also enjoy the warm swimming pool and amazing views. The food was great. I would recommend booking all inclusive or full board.

I needed a rest and relaxation get away and it was perfect for that.. Secluded and very attentive... It was a perfect get away for a person who stays busy. Great food, great workout facilities, wonderful rooms.

Marafiki Bungalows is located on the beach in Kiwengwa,overlooking the ocean.Zanzibar International Airport is a 1 hour drive away.

With this review we want to emphasize first of all that the pleasure of a stay does not only depend on how the facility is, but above all on the services around it. My husband and I found the services superlative both for the availability of the host and for the commitment with which she fulfilled our wishes. Our flight arrived 6 hours late and we checked in at 1am and despite everything Madam Caroline was there waiting for us to give us the keys and provide us with all the necessary information. The following days she booked bicycles, excursions, taxis and made sure that our stay was unforgettable and so it was. We recommend this structure to everyone. The beach is a few steps from the villa and the compound is really beautiful, safe and quite. Thanks again for everything.

A 5-star experience! The accommodation itself isnt a 5 star, it needs a little love and renovation, BUT the staff makes an extraordinary 5-star experience, especially receptionist manager Victor. We booked 5nights, half board, a family of 4. We came with an early flight, and arrived at the resort at 6.30 am, as a welcome a receptionist gave us a free-of-charge buffet breakfast. In our booking, we had an early check-in 10am, but the room wasn't ready on time, so Victor offered us a free buffet lunch. Finally when we got to our room at 2 pm- it was nice, spacious, and clean. Buffet breakfast and dinner have a good choice of daily prepared meals, desserts, and an excellent choice of fresh fruit. They have an option of free late breakfast and afternoon snack in the lobby for guests who have missed breakfast or lunch :). We spent New Year's Eve in the hotel, and the party was spectacular. The food, the entertainment, the beach party... They truly thought about every little detail. Truly recommend it and hope to be back :) <3

Everything was great, the resort looks better than in pictures. For us what stood out was the food, best food out of any other 5 star resort we stayed at. The italian chef did wonders, the fruits were amazing, the desserts were amazing. As a fan of panna cotta I ate here better panna cotta than in Italy.

Our stay in Bluebay has been simply top notch! The facility is amazing, every environment is so spot on...from the hall to the restaurant, to the pool and so on...Everything is kept with taste and attention to the smallest details. The restaurant serves high quality food mostly made with local fresh ingredients. Not to mention the staff : waiters, bartenders, Masai bellboys and the receptionists (to whom I'd like to dedicate a special mention...Those guys are true professionals, they never leave you alone and they are always there to meet each single request with a smile on their face. They are such a winning team! Those guys do a great job!). Highly recommended!
