We absolutely loved the place and the hosts, Tomasz and Maggie, who welcomed us wholeheartedly and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Since we traveled during the low season, we were kindly offered an upgrade to the Ocean Room — and we loved it! We only left the property once, for a snorkeling tour, because everything we needed was right there. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we chose to dine in every night.

Haber Hotel is a fantastic place! Small family hotel located in Matemwe, it offers comfort and quiet atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to all those who want to avoid the big crowded noisy touristic hotels on the coast but in the same time want to stay close to beautiful beaches (nearby you can find Muyuni beach and Matemwe beach). The owners, Kris and Kasha, are great and would do everything to make the stay of the guests unforgettable. The staff is very kind and the whole dynamic of this property is tailored to fit the needs and comfort of the guests. Breakfast is fabulous, served from 8am till noon, for those who like to sleep in late, and for lunch and dinner we could chose delicious options from a rich menu or even off menu. Pets are welcome (the hotel is actually named after Haber, the owners' cute Cocker Spaniel). At any time of our stay we felt welcome, safe, well taken care of and even spoiled.

We lived in 9 different hotels in 18 days, and this was our define favorite. At first our room were upgraded at arrival, and told us that our departure day, we could keep the room for free all day, as we had a late flight. The staff was so sweet, they helped and served us all we needed, but in a too much way. The hotel is the coziest place where you feel welcome and home. There is activities every day, but still very quiet, which we found perfect. And finally, the food was so nice. And there was cold water to fill all day.

The service was impeccable - from the security staff when entering and leaving the property, the reception staff always happy and eager to help, the restaurant staff was there to serve every step of the way and the excursion manager (Abdul) deserves a special mention. He arranged private tours for us and went above and beyond to make it comfortable for us. The property is remote, but everything you need is there.

Beautiful gardens full of plants and flowers. Absolutely for retreat. The host were great, friendly and helpful. I like also yoga lessons. Breakfasts were also good, fresh juice, fruits, omelettes or chapati.
