The hotel is nice, the food was delicious (there was a grill night I really loved that) the staff was friendly and they always payed attention to us to enjoy our stay. However I dont like the beach, there was a lot of algae and there is nothing you can do, no shops, only 1-2 hotels in the beach but they are building lot of hotels right now along the beach. But this is not depends on the hotel! Last day we found a sandbank near the mangroves walking south. do not miss that!

After the safari adventure, we spent four unforgettable days at Zawadi Hotel in Zanzibar this September. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and it deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the property. The entire area feels like a slice of paradise, with lush, manicured gardens and vibrant flowers creating a tranquil oasis. Every detail is carefully attended to, making the surroundings feel magical. The villas were absolutely spotless and beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The highlight of our stay, however, was the food. Every meal was served à la carte, and each dish was excellent—imaginative, delicious, and prepared with great care. Dining at Zawadi was a true culinary delight. The staff at Zawadi set a new standard for hospitality. From the warm and welcoming reception team, especially the lovely Noura, to the attentive F&B staff and even the gardeners, everyone we encountered was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. One of the most memorable experiences was the guided tour through the gardens, which was both informative and enjoyable (feeding the donkey was almosts as exciting as safari!). We also loved the little touches, like sundowners served in our villa and the creative gin and tonic menu. Zawadi Hotel is a place we will never forget. It’s more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re already dreaming of returning and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, Zawadi is the place to be.

The culture, the food , the rooms and the activities. They made our whole stay at the resort memorable with their kindness and friendliness. We booked for a bed and breakfast and when we wanted to upgrade to full board the manager offered to upgrade us without any cost to us. They planned a beautiful dinner for us which was beautiful and delicious. if you looking for a place to stay this is definitely the place, the views are breathtaking and if you have no activities lined up the staff will keep you busy with their in -house activities. Definitely coming back with my family

The Best Hotel in Zanzibar! We only stayed for one night but wished we had booked it for our entire stay in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredible. My husband had been bitten by a monkey at another hotel, and the staff immediately called their in-house doctor, ensuring he received the best care. Their kindness and attentiveness truly stood out. The entire team makes you feel right at home, and the hospitality is unmatched. The resort itself is stunning, the food is exceptional, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of.
