Small, tranquillo, individual, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Waiters knew our names after arrival, the beach is beautiful white sand but tide-dependent. Free Wi-Fi is good, no TVs (which is refreshing). Nice idea to have dinner in different venues – restaurant at the beach, near the kitchen, at the beach on different days. Quality of food is good, prices are very reasonable. Bar with the best view for sundowner. Free paddle boards and one-person kayaks to rent. Mosquito nets over the bed. Nice balconies in each of the only 20 rooms. Clean pool and garden. Family games and books available. One spa therapist available. The rooms are clean, and free drinking water is available throughout the resort.

From this prime location, we had convenient access to an array of island tours, while also being within a comfortable distance to the vibrant small town of Paje, rich with additional restaurants, dive shops, bars, and surf shacks. For those considering a visit to Mmenba, it is a bit of a distance, but rest assured, the immediate surroundings offer more than enough to explore and enjoy. Amenities & Tours: The hotel boasts a wealth of amenities including a lovely swimming pool, an excellent restaurant, and a cozy bar, not to mention a Cinema room that adds a touch of romance to any movie evening. Their collection of high-quality equipment for snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking invites adventure at your leisure. The Best Hotel in Zanzibar! We only stayed for one night but wished we had booked it for our entire stay in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredible. My husband had been bitten by a monkey at another hotel, and the staff immediately called their in-house doctor, ensuring he received the best care. Their kindness and attentiveness truly stood out. The entire team makes you feel right at home, and the hospitality is unmatched. The resort itself is stunning, the food is exceptional, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. We’re so sad to leave this amazing place and can’t wait to return!
