It is such an amazing experience, different from anywhere else in the world I have stayed. The place is set on the beach and on the fringes of Jomani Forest so the monkeys come during the day and you can watch them up in the trees. Camels, donkeys and goats are around but not intrusive, plus cats, a dog called Dudu and amazing bird and lizards. You can watch the villagers walk past on the beach singing or going fishing, and in the evening playing football (very serious and they warm up with exercises first), The staff are amazing and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food !!! they have an incredible cook! At dusk they come to ask if you want your room sprayed against mosquitoes and hand you a little rolled up rhyme wishing you well and give you two biscuits to have with your late night tea or coffee. I have never been in such a peaceful haven in Nature... I could have stayed forever!

Wonderful hotel! Could have never dreamed of anything better. It was paradise! It’s the perfect location if you’re looking for peacefulness and quietness. The staff was incredible nice, always having nice attentions. The food was absolutely amazing, beat breakfast and dinner ever! The rooms are really lovely and the pool is a bliss. There is also a very good gym. We would definitely come back!!

The Best Hotel in Zanzibar! We only stayed for one night but wished we had booked it for our entire stay in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredible. My husband had been bitten by a monkey at another hotel, and the staff immediately called their in-house doctor, ensuring he received the best care. Their kindness and attentiveness truly stood out. The entire team makes you feel right at home, and the hospitality is unmatched. The resort itself is stunning, the food is exceptional, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. Tulia was an absolute beauty- luxurious. The staff service was top, the details on the building, the place is soo serene. I can’t praise it enough… it was calming. Michaelle treats you like you are her only guest- with much care and attention. They do fine dining so there is two options to pick on for main course each day- which might be limiting for some. It was not the case for us. We loved Tulia and hope to be back again next time in Zanzibar!
