We loved staying at this hotel and we highly recommend staying here for a vacation in Honolulu-Waikiki area! We did mention during the reservation that we are celebrating a big birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find in our room a complimentary bottle of champagne and a selection of fresh fruit. The room was beautiful, very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view over the ocean (Ocean Front), which was perfect for enjoying the sunrise and sunset. During our stay, we were out exploring the island but after our arrival back to the hotel, while we were relaxing at our lanai (balcony), we managed to catch a glimpse of the evening show featuring a former Miss Hawaii. The hotel location is perfect - it is literally on the beach (tiny one by the hotel but a pleasant walk to the main beach) and within a short walking distance from the shopping area, yet the hotel is quiet. The breakfast buffet was generous, with lots of delicacies and amazing fresh fruit, we enjoyed sitting outside under the palm trees. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Thank you for making our short stay so memorable!

Canoe and surf boards inside hotel decor. Duke Kahanamoku decor/history in the mail lobby. Shops and 2 restaurants inside with Waikkiki view from each. We got Waikkiki beach ocean view from the hotel balcony, 6th and 12th floor, East side, amazing we coud see sea turtles in the water from balcony. Love this place. Mae was our host in the hotel - Mahalo Mae. We flew from Poland 31 hours, 3 planes one way - it was worth for me , my fwife and our 3 dauguthers. It was holidays of our live. Mahalo and Aloha.

We just loved everything and are glad that we had decided to spend a bit more money for our stay in Honolulu! Following we liked best: - hotel entrance and lobby (it's huge and very modern; mind-blowing is the fish tank in the restaurant, everything is open, spacious and airy) - restaurant options (we had breakfast included and were pleasantly surprised that there was also a free (pre)dinner possibility (starters, salad, pasta but also wine and beer) included - perfect with kids! - pool area (infinity pool, nice bar with great offer, friendly and helpful staff, very modern, we especially loved the video-projections at the wall...) - shopping possibilities in the house plus near surrounding; (you are in the heart of Waikiki!) - valet parking (do spend those extra Dollars - it's definitely more than worth it!!!) .... We could go on forever! Of course there are even better places in Honolulu but also more expensive, therefore clear recommendation for the Alohilani

Very beautiful hotel, stayed there for one night. Extremely clean, new and comfortable. All of the hotel facilities were very nice. There's a place for a grill on the pool deck.
