A fantastic traditional place very close to the town with awesome views. Tom the owner was so inviting & totally lovely with so much information on what & where to go. The bag lift was amazing! Tom said that he wanted his place to be a ‘home from home’ & it certainly was!!

We had an amazing stay at BergWood Inn. The owners were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay, especially when they reached out earlier in the day to check if we’d like dinner. It was so easy to arrange, and the homemade meal they prepared was absolutely delicious—better than any restaurant we tried during our stay in South Africa! Our room was cozy and well-equipped for winter, with both heating and electric blankets that made a big difference on the chilly nights. I highly recommend BergWood Inn to anyone visiting the area. It’s a warm, welcoming place with outstanding hospitality and food.
